Lindwa Communications: How to plan social media content that converts

At Lindwa Communications, our mandate is to build brands and curate content. One of our popular services has to be digital content strategies and social media management. With our Digital Marketing services, we roll out calendar posting, social media marketing, paid ads, reputation management and we track your metrics. Through interpreting your business goals, social media insights and Google Analytics report, we solidify your business communication to potential customers.

Now with all of that in mind, we still urge you to keep a content planning system that will save you time! Because the holidays are coming up and you’re going to need to get some rest after the year you’ve had. At Lindwa Communications, we’re firm believers of working smart and we plan out every item on our to-do list. This has proven to be effective and we get to reclaim time in our personal lives and just hang out with the family – with no ‘business as usual’ interruptions.  We have set strict boundaries for ourselves to just rest and not talk about business all the time, especially at family gatherings.

We’ll put you ‘on game’ and share our top 3 content planning tips that we use with clients and inhouse content :

Work 3 weeks ahead! Yup, this will save you. There will be life interruptions in between so having a 3-week plan keeps you on track, even when hiccups happen.

Write down every idea. It’s easy to forget a really cool idea, so writing things down is so simple and effective when it comes to implementation. You can keep a note-book or ‘text yourself’ on your phone’s notepad. Whatever channel you choose- just write it down.

Set aside content planning days. You can optimise on days your creativity usually flows, for example, we love to use Saturday mornings right after a hike. Our minds are refreshed and ready to get the creative juices flowing.

Now that we’ve shared our goods, what other content planning tips do you have up your sleeve?

We promise that having a content strategy will help you ease out of 2020 and prepare your game plan for 2021. We’re so ready for the new year and finishing off 2020 strong!
